Walking With Jesus!!

It is not easy to walk with Jesus and yet a lot of Christians wanted to walk right with Jesus.. Therefore I really want to blog all my walks so that I can remember all the walks that I have had with Jesus and to rely on Him and allow Him to carry me when I couldn't walk right with Him anymore.

2011 New Year wishes

Barely 24 hours more the year 2011 is coming. So here's wishing everybody a wonderful and prosperous 2011. May God continue to bless, to protect, to heal, to touch, to walk with us in our time of hardship, to speak to us in the year 2011 especially when we do not what is it that the year 2011 is going to bring us.
As for us, may we continue to listen to God's voice, read the Bible, to pray more, to care for others like how Jesus care for us, to walk the righteous walk with God, to acknowledge that we are nothing but a mere human, to admit that we do mistakes, to re-acknowledge that Jesus is our Lord and Savior & re-dedicated ourselves continuously to God. Above all, nothing else does matter except our strong relationship with Jesus. Even if we ever fail in life, we can be sure that Jesus never fails. =) God bless and a blessed 2011 New Year

Live for Jesus

This may sounds cliche to some of us but I was just awaken by this statement.

Our powerful God came to earth in a form of a baby 2000 years ago. Isn't that sounds profound? No other God died for us and no other God actually came to us in the form of a baby.

Well as much as we are struggling with our life, let us not forget that God actually came as a baby and died on the cross for us. Live for Him and not for ourselves. It may sounds hypocrite for me to say this since I am also no different like you all, but hey I am also a human being. But what makes me blog it here is because I want to remind us all (and that includes me) that we are not to live our live simply for ourselves but a reminder that we should live for God. Saying and doing it is different thing altogether. That's why I blog it here to remind to put Him first. At least this is a good beginning of living for Him. God bless.. =)

Facebook Christmas

I love how people use Facebook to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is what I found in facebook and I find it brilliant. Who says only voice and face to face meeting up should be the way to reach out to the lost soul? Here's what I believe can be use to reach up to the lost soul. Enjoy.. =)

And it's free if you know how to make use of the application. Please check up their website at www.ignitermedia.com God bless.. =)

Christmas speech

Christmas is nearby now.. Another 15 minutes.. Well taking this time 15 minutes before Christmas to wish every blog reader of mine, a very blessed Christmas. Not just that please remember the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ 2000 years ago and don't make Christmas another entertaining day but to take His birth seriously cause it is because of today we are given hope, a hope that only God can provide. A hope for the betterment of our life and life of others. And by saying that let us use this day as a day to make our New Year resolution carefully. A resolution only God can provide for the year 2011 and years so forth.
Before I end my blog here, I just wanna say this. Everything I say above is also a reminder for myself that I will not take His Birth for granted but in all things, it is to remind me of how fragile we are and how a perfect God would come down to the earth to die for our sin and to give us hope. So let no one come to claim they are better than others, which includes me and you and you and you.. Amen? Blessed Christmas and God bless.. =)

Christmas verses Xmas

I sent quite a lot of Christmas wishes to my friends via phone text last night and today I received a lot of wishes back. But one thing that caught my eye and perhaps disappointed me most when it comes to receiving all this messages was they wish me Merry Xmas instead of Merry Christmas.
Sorry to say this but I felt that the Christmas wishes had all gone in vain when I received such wishes from them. For one thing, I am a conventional Christian believer and I believe in wishing everybody a Merry Christmas and not just Merry Xmas. I find this word Xmas very troubling. Everybody may say, "Hey, it is just a short form for Christmas". Perhaps you are right but from where I am taught when it comes to wishing people Xmas, it means wishing the unknown.
Why do I said that? Come to think of it. X, a lot of time represents the unknown. For instance, when it comes to mathematics, we always thought of X amount of people. How many are there? X amount of people. Do we know the exact amount. Nope. We only have X amount of people, and this for me is the unknown. We love treasure hunt right? When we look for treasure, we look for the X sign. How do we know where to look for this X sign? To be honest, we don't. So how? Well we go search for it. And where is the substance of this? Well there is none. We just do not know. So in another word, for me it meant unknown.
You may say, "Well nowadays we all love to write in short form, text in short form and perhaps in future spell in short form as well". Well why not do it this way. Instead of putting an X next to the mas, we replace it with the symbol + and make it +mas. (Mind you, this is plus sign and not t as in alphabetic per se) Well + represents cross and cross symbolises Christ. After all you want short form and what is the similarity between X & +? Well X & + are just one one alphabet and one symbol. Easy for you to write and perhaps type. And Christmas is about Christ and His birth and not about unknown and its unknown birth or whatsoever it is we are celebrating. In that sense we do not celebrate in vain cause if we celebrate Xmas, what are we celebrating on this 25th December? Is it Christ or it is the unknown?
Well I just want to use this opportunity to share my belief of using proper word for Christmas. Perhaps for everyone who are not Christian you might want to celebrate this end of the year season with joy and happiness. You use Xmas instead of Christmas. Fine. Nothing to comment bout your short form but there are some Christians who used the same Xmas to wish everybody else. Perhaps there is nothing wrong with it but I do not feel right using Xmas to wish everybody.
Reason? Well as a lot of people had told me of which I totally agreed to it. Christmas is about Jesus Christ who was born on this special day to give us hope. And this Christmas is about Him and Him alone. We do not take credit over Christmas, how we celebrated Christmas blah blah blah.. Its about Him. Therefore, we should give Him all the credit. Take Christ out of Christmas and 25th December is just another normal day. But put Christ into Christmas and it means hope, the hope that God had gave us and this is Christ Jesus. And this is an extra belief I want to include here. We had murdered an innocent Man on Good Friday, using the most cruel weapon 2000 years ago and I felt we should give Him the credit at least when it comes to Christmas by including Christ in our celebration because He was born just to save us. Don't you think so it's a bit cruel of us replace Him using X?

Hopeful Christmas

Christmas is apporaching soon, in another 5 days. I am reminded of this Christmas season, of not taking Christmas for granted. Well Christmas for me, is about hope nowadays. Another Hope blog, you might say. Well this time I am reminded of the birth of baby Jesus.
As we all well know, Christmas is about a Savior, by the name of Jesus who was born on this day 2000 years ago. (Technically it is not right, I mean Jesus was not born on 25th December but the date was chosen as a remembrance of His birth) Anyway Jesus' birth symbolises Hope. A Hope for the betterment of our future. He is our Hope for our walk on this earth, that despite all our weakness, He is our Guidance, our Direction, our Directory, our Spiritual Senses, etc etc. Because of this Hope, we are only able to walk right with God. Without this Hope, we lost our sense of direction. Just like the Israelites who were lost when God was not with them. When we are living in darkness as we are currently blinded our only cling is unto Jesus who is the Light of the world. Without Him, we will forever tremble and fall cause we cannot see where we are heading.
Surprisingly, Christmas falls at the end of the year. Therefore I am reminded as well that a new year might not necessary be good. For one thing, we do not know how the year 2011 is going to be. Therefore as the year 2010 is slowly ending, we need His Hope to lead us to a better future for the years to come. Without this Hope, we will be lost again. That's why we are always told not to lose Hope as losing Hope means losing Jesus in our life. We might fall and rise again but never give up on this Hope for this Hope never gives up on us. For if He does, there would never be any future in our life anymore. And by saying that, I meant death is awaiting us. That is why people said, "There is no point living since there is no hope". I find it very true.
Therefore let us continue to be hopeful that we shall live right in Christ and Christ alone. One way by doing that is embracing the year 2011 with faith and hope in Christ Jesus, Amen. One of the way I believe we can do is by starting to live a righteous walk in Him. Day by day and step by step with the hope that we shall able to live fully in Him.
Therefore blessed Christmas to everyone out there. Let us not lose our salvation by giving away our life to temptation but in everything continue to persist on for all glory belongs to God and God alone.. Amen!!

Happy Christmas (War is Over)

There is one singer in my life that I actually admire from young until now.. Well his name is John Lennon of The Beatles. Some of his songs might be a bit anti-Christ but for one thing, I like his songs. His songs are always about love. Perhaps no one actually were to reach up to him but if he were to become a Christian now, he would be a great evangelist of this century. For one thing he always speak of peace. One of his song which I like a lot is his Christmas song. I mean since this is a Christmas time, his song entitled Happy Christmas, War is Over does hit me a lot. It gave me quite a goose bump as well. I mean all his songs were very well written. Perhaps it reflects how he sees the world.
So please enjoy this song as Christmas is approaching. God bless.. =)

Happy Christmas (War is Over)

So this is Christmas
And what have you done
Another year over
And a new one just begun
Ans so this is Christmas
I hope you have fun
The near and the dear one
The old and the young

A very merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear
And so this is Christmas
For weak and for strong
For rich and the poor ones
The world is so wrong
And so happy Christmas
For black and for white
For yellow and red ones
Let's stop all the fight
A very merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear
And so this is Christmas
And what have we done
Another year over
And a new one just begun
Ans so this is Christmas
I hope you have fun
The near and the dear one
The old and the young
A very merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear
War is over over
If you want it
War is over
Now...

Biased preaching

This morning God had shown me the importance of not to bias against others. As I took a bus this morning, there is a middle aged lady who was in the bus. She boarded the bus before me. As I walk towards my seat, she was talking loudly at her seat. At first I thought she was talking on the phone but I came to realise a minute later, she was talking loudly to every passenger on the bus, declaring to the passengers God's goodness toward her. In fact I would rather called it preaching to the lost in the bus.
At first I was feeling a little bit disgust, thinking, "how could she preach Gospel this loud and yet act insane." She kept on preaching to the passengers loudly and each time she did that, I felt that it is not the right way to preach Gospel as who would listen to a middle aged lady preaching Gospel and in an insane way.
Well as she continue to speak, I felt suddenly that God is saying, "well there is no right way to preach Gospel". The only way of preaching Gospel is to declare it to the world, no matter where we are. As the Scripture says in Matthew 20:18-20,

18 Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations,[a] baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

I felt this verse is suitable for this topic. Well as it is said in the Bible in Matthew 20:18-19, Jesus has been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations,[a] baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. In this verse I felt it means He is the Lord of heaven and on earth. So no one shall separate this authority given to Him, not even our mindset and our well thought behavior shall reject this authority. In another there is nothing to disgust about the way we reach up to the lost, so long the lost came back to Christ. Paul was jailed because he preached the Gospel. Stephen was stoned because he preached Gospel. John the Baptist was beheaded because he preach righteousness against evilness. In fact Jesus Himself preached about Himself when He tell the congregation that He is the Messiah that they are waiting for. All these people put themselves into a risk that they might be killed for going against the public. To the eye of the public they are doing the foolish things. Foolish things to them but not to God. Because of what they did, God bless them and make them whole again in Heaven.
What I am learning here we should not make assumption that when a person preaches Gospel not the normal way, it is deemed to be the wrong way. As for this scenario, I felt that the lady did a daring thing that no one dare to do and that is preaching the Gospel in public without fear but full of dignity and full of glory from the Lord despite the fact that she might be insane of what she did.
One way for us to affirm that we are doing the right thing when we felt that she might be wrong (in our own naked eye) is we pray for her. If this is what God wants her to do at this season, no one can break it. In fact we should pray for blessing over her as she is facing a lot of risk preaching Gospel this way. I am sure because of what we did (by this I mean pray), if this is God's will for her. no one can break it. In fact we should support her in prayer that she might not fall into the hand of the satan. Therefore please be less judgmental when it came to others using weird ways to preach the Gospel. At the moment I am saying this I just want to say I am also struggle with my mindset that she should not do what she was doing this morning. But then I am learning to accept whatever God had use her for and that is through prayer. =)

Who God use?

I saw a good message from a forwarded mail that I want to share here.. I find it very meaningful and very delightful to know that the message is talking bout me, most of the time.. At least, for me I can identify myself with the message. To be honest with myself.. And I am sure that it applies to everyone as well.. Here goes.. Enjoy and be blessed.. =)

WHO GOD USES

God, grant me the Serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the Courage to change the one I can, and the Wisdom to know it's me.

The next time you feel like GOD can't use you, just remember...

- Noah was a drunk
- Abraham was too old
- Isaac was a daydreamer
- Jacob was a liar
- Leah was ugly
- Joseph was abused
- Moses had a stuttering problem
- Gideon was afraid
- Samson had long hair and was a womanizer
- Rahab was a prostitute
- Jeremiah and Timothy were too young
- David had an affair and was a murderer
- Elijah was suicidal
- Isaiah preached naked
- Jonah ran from God
- Naomi was a widow
- Job went bankrupt
- John the Baptist ate bugs
- Peter denied Christ
- The Disciples fell asleep while praying
- Martha worried about everything
- The Samaritan woman was divorced, more than once
- Zaccheus was too small
- Paul was too religious
- Timothy had an ulcer
- and Lazarus was dead!

No more excuses now. God can use you to your full potential. Besides, you aren't the message, you are just the messenger.

1. God wants spiritual fruit, not religious nuts.
2. Dear God, I have a problem, it's me.
3. Growing old is inevitable. Growing up is optional.
4. There is no key to happiness. The door is always open.
5. Silence is often misinterpreted but never misquoted .
6. Do the math. Count your blessings.
7. Faith is the ability to not panic.
8. Laugh every day, it's like inner jogging.
9. If you worry, you didn't pray. If you pray, don't worry.
10. As a child of God, prayer is kind of like calling home everyday.
11. Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.
12. The most important things in your house are the people.
13. When we get tangled up in our problems, be still. God wants us to be still so He can untangle the knot.
14. A grudge is a heavy thing to carry.
15. He who dies with the most toys is still dead.

Cleaniess is our virtue

I am in Singapore right now, spending my end of the year break here and one thing I realised is that Singapore are way much cleaner than Malaysia. I guess one way of Malaysia can achieve the status of vision 2020 and not encourage wastage is the resident of Malaysia should for one:

1) do not throw rubbish everywhere. Unlike Singaporean, they have a proper place to throw rubbish and recycling centre. By not throwing rubbish every year on the floor or any public area, the government of Malaysia would save billions of Ringgit to rejuvenate cleanliness and thus, use up the money for other purposes.

2) do not make the river dirty. One thing I realised in the yearly Malaysia budget is they have yearly rejuvenate the river by providing billions of Ringgit to clean the river. So one way not to spent this much is don't throw any rubbish into river or dirty the river.

3) do not make our toilet dirty. Every citizen should treat the public toilet like their own house toilet. With that kind of mind intact, the government do not need to spent billion of Ringgit into cleaning the money.

The list would go on and on and on.. So in my own humble opinion, it was the resident's fault that our tax money goes into drain. Do not blame the government for it. It is our responsible to make our country clean, our river clean, our public toilet clean and etc etc.. Just like how it is our responsible to make our house, room and even the compound clean. Have a blessed week ahead..
