Walking With Jesus!!

It is not easy to walk with Jesus and yet a lot of Christians wanted to walk right with Jesus.. Therefore I really want to blog all my walks so that I can remember all the walks that I have had with Jesus and to rely on Him and allow Him to carry me when I couldn't walk right with Him anymore.

Happy Valentine's Day

Officially Valentine's Day has come. Now is the day. Well as much as we all celebrate Valentine's Day, there is some sharing that I would like to share. I guess it came from the bottom of my heart and in a sense I guess this is what God is reminding me.
Well Valentine's Day is all about love, love and love.. I am reminded that in this Valentine let's us all continue to show love to others. Let us not start pointing finger whenever there is a trouble in a relationship. Have you heard of this statement whereby a person says, "By giving my love towards him or her, I hope I am able to change him or her physically, spiritually and emotionally." The word I want to share here is the word CHANGE.
I am reminded by the very fact that giving our love towards our loved ones do not change him or her personally. I guess by giving our love to that person, we want God to change us personally cause loving a person is very hard. What more character clashes. I want this and she wants that. Or she wants that and I want this. As much as we can accommodate each other, how long more can we do that? You can say why not we pray to God to change our loved one so that miracle can happen. You are right. Prayer does change a person's character. But be reminded as well that as much as we pray for our loved one, let us not forget to ask God to change us. Cause as we all know we are insecure people and we blame others first before ourselves. In fact I felt that we never admit we are wrong but our loved one are wrong.
Therefore for this Valentine's Day, I am reminded by the Lord to actually ask Him to change me first before I actually blame my loved one. In fact let us say more good things to our loved one rather than more condemnation over him or her when trouble comes. If possible praise our loved one more and not a single condemning word uttered from our mouth. After all he or she are the one who stick close to us and won't abandon us when problem occurs. A good example like this would encourage our children to do the likewise. If you have a problem of doing so please ask God to guide and to change you. He will be willing to change to be the better person towards your loved one.
Anyway last but not least, a Happy Valentine's Day to you.. May God bless you and your loved one in this special occasion but let us not treat just this day a special day but may every of our 365 days be equally showing love and being kind towards each other.
