Walking With Jesus!!

It is not easy to walk with Jesus and yet a lot of Christians wanted to walk right with Jesus.. Therefore I really want to blog all my walks so that I can remember all the walks that I have had with Jesus and to rely on Him and allow Him to carry me when I couldn't walk right with Him anymore.

Water baptism

When I ask people, "are they Christian?" I am amazed when I ask them this question. Most of the people I knew would told me that they had not been baptised yet. I do not understand what they are trying to say. To be honest, they never give me the answer. All they gave was they had not been baptized yet. So is a person a Christian if they are not baptized?

Well my answer would be yes, you are a Christian, whether you are baptized or not baptized. Reason being is because a Christian accepted the Lord as their Lord and Savior, by faith confess from their mouth and believe in their heart. Christianity is not about action and working hard to get the trust from the Lord Jesus Christ. God had already knew who we were when we were not even born.  You may find this verse in Jeremiah 1:5.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” (NKJV)

We are all children of God even before we were born. God had created us that way. It is just us and us alone, who changed the whole scenario. When God welcome us into this world, He welcome us with an open hand, inviting us to be with Him. That is why He never force us to believe in Him. What we as human being as the matter of fact, was the opposite of Him. We shied away from Him. We go another way round. We were scared to confess that we are Christian but use water baptism as a tool to tell the world we need to be baptized first to become Christian.

What I am trying to say here is we are Christian the moment we confessed with our mouth and believe in our heart that Jesus is our Lord and Savior. We do not need to do anything to seek Him. We only tell the world that we are Christian through water baptism. Of course water baptism is important but it is not as important as our confession of sins in our heart and that only Jesus Christ is our Savior. For that confession itself, we chose Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Therefore do not be hesitate whenever people ask you whether you are a Christian or not because the moment you confess your sin you are a Christian and no work, not even water baptism should hinder you from confessing yourself a believer of Christ.

Mooncake celebration

I just want to give God glory concerning what had happened last month. Malaysia is a country where it rains every September until December. It is a monsoon season rain where it would rain like cats and dogs for nearly the whole day. As of 28th September'12 I was an organisor for an event in my company where we have this Mid-Autumn celebration, a celebration where we have our famous delicacy called Mooncake. It is a Chinese cultural celebration where we would observe the bright moon and taking lanterns for a walk.

Throughtout that week, it had been raining heavily. As I was organising the event, one of the activities that we all do that was going for a lantern walk. It is like walking with lantern while enjoying the breeze of fresh air. I had been praying for a brighter and a night without rain for that matters. Well just want to thank God that everything went on smoothly that night (28th Sept'12). The whole night (from Monday to Thursday) was raining, either heavily or drizzling. I am thankful to God that He actually stopped the rain for that particular Friday night. Anyway below are two pictures that we took that night. It was a marvelous celebration carrying lantern walking under the dark and breezing night. We have had our dinner and after dinner, we had our walk. It was fun walking together with my colleagues while carrying our lantern. I tried to upload a few more pictures of us that night but do not know why I could not do so. But below are two nicest pictures we took. Therefore all glory to our Lord Jesus Christ for His providence.. Amen.. =)

The picture above are our group photo of all the people who had attended this celebration.

The picture above shows a group photo of us where we were taking a walk outside of the building. It was fun while walking together in unity. =)

Prayer Request

Dear readers,

I have a prayer request. My uncle (my mom's eldest brother) has recently been diagnosed with bladder cancer. I was told that this cancer is in his third stage. Can you all help to spread around and pray for him. I do not know his full name but you can call him, uncle Lim. We just found out about this matter since last week itself. Please pray for his and his family salvation as well.

Thank you
