Walking With Jesus!!

It is not easy to walk with Jesus and yet a lot of Christians wanted to walk right with Jesus.. Therefore I really want to blog all my walks so that I can remember all the walks that I have had with Jesus and to rely on Him and allow Him to carry me when I couldn't walk right with Him anymore.

Dog's Purposes?

This is one article I found from the web. Hope that it inspires you just as it inspires me.. =) Enjoy..

Dog's Purposes?

Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog's owners, Ron, his wife Lisa , and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle.

I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn't do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.

As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience.

The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker 's family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away.

The little boy seemed to accept Belker's transition without any difficulty or confusion. We sat together for a while after Belker's Death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that animal lives are shorter than human lives.
Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, ''I know why.''

Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me. I'd never heard a more comforting explanation. It has changed the way I try and live.

He said,''People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life -- like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?'' The Six-year-old continued,

''Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long.''

Live simply.

Love generously.

Care deeply.

Speak kindly.

Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure Ecstasy.

Take naps.

Stretch before rising.

Run, romp, and play daily.

Thrive on attention and let people touch you.

Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.

On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.

When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

Be loyal.

Never pretend to be something you're not.

If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently.

There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. So, love the people who treat you right. Think good thoughts for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of LIFE...Getting back up is LIVING...

Be careful ...

Be careful when you go around and searching for a church nearby your neighborhood. The reason is there are a lot of cult church in this world nowadays. I had encountered one today and I guess it is very important for me to share it here so that we would not go wrong. Not to say I know it all but if ever I am wrong, please correct me. I am just wanting to help my fellow believer of Christ from entering false teaching.

1) Be careful when you meet Christians, who claimed that their church are the real church compared to the other churches around. There is no right church or a perfect church in this world. We are all sinner, fall short of God's glory as per scripture, "23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (Romans 3:23 - NKJV)" So in that sense whenever any Christian claimed that their church are the perfect church, beware that they might be cult.

2) Be careful when you meet Christians, who claimed that their version of Bible is the most truthful Bible compared to the rest version. All the different version of Bible are God's inspiration  to mankind and no one can said that their Bible is the most truthful Bible as per scripture "16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3: 16 - 17 - NKJV)". So by saying that no one can claim credit for what was written except God Himself.

3)  Be careful despite when they know you are Christian, yet they still wants you to join their church, whether as worshiper or to serve in their church. This is what it meant by, "steal sheep", whether it is from the pastor themselves or the congregation. It is not right for us as a church to steal another sheep from another church. Jesus teach us to love one another as per scripture "34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. (John 13:34 - NKJV)". A true believer would focus on God more rather than anything in the church (perhaps the church they invited got a better equipment or better worship team) because the things of the world are temporal but the things of God are eternal.

4) Be careful when you go to a certain church that teaches you different things than Jesus Himself.  For example if the church you went to do not use Bible as the medium of teaching, please do not go. In another word, if the preacher preaches everything other than Jesus Christ, it is a cult. The scriptures said, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14 : 6 - NKJV)." It is only through Jesus Christ that we have life. So if any churches do not believing in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, please avoid going there anymore. It is a cult. I had to say this is main reason for us to be alert whenever we enter into a church. The church we attend must believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord. Not only believe, they must confess it and Bible must be their medium of teaching in the service itself.

I guess that is all I can share about watch up over false churches. How can we be discern over all this matter of cult? Well there are few things we can do to discern:

1) Read the Word of God, which is the Bible. Read it daily. Please do not neglect this. It is our Christian spiritual food. Without it we will get lost.

2) Praying to God for wisdom and knowledge. Not just for wisdom and knowledge but everything we keep in prayer.

3) Ask Holy Spirit for guidance. A lot of thing we might not know but Holy Spirit is the one who guide us, to make the right decision. If you have not receive Holy Spirit into your life, welcome Him. He will sure come in and guide you but you need to ask Him to come in. He is our Helper when in our time of needs.

4) I guess this is the most important time in our life. For those of us who had not believe in Jesus Christ, please believe in Him for He is our Savior and Our Christ. The main thing in life before we start doing the three things of above is, we must believe in Jesus Christ. Believe that He is our Savior and our Christ.

So if you had not done so, shall we all say a prayer below:

"Heavenly Father, have mercy on me, a sinner.
I believe in You and that Your word is true.
I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God and
that He died on the cross so that I may now have forgiveness
for my sins and eternal life.
I know that without You in my heart my life is meaningless.
I believe in my heart that You, Lord God, raised Him from the dead.
Please Jesus forgive me, for every sin I have ever committed
or done in my heart,
Please Lord Jesus forgive me and come into my heart as
my personal Lord and Savior today.
I need You to be my Father and my Friend.
I give You my life and ask You to take full control from this moment on;
I pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ."
Amen.

So for those of you who had said this prayer and wanting to grow in the Lord please go to a right, Christ sound church and not simply enter a church. At the same time please ask your newly joined church member to guide you in your walk with the Lord. God bless.. =)

The persistence of the frog

I found this article below a very inspiring story for me to share here. So with this article I hope we can be like the frog. Enjoy.. =)

Once upon a time there was a bunch of tiny frogs who arranged a running competit...ion. The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower. A big crowd had gathered around the tower to see the race and cheer on the contestants.

The race began…

Honestly, No one in crowd really believed that the tiny frogs would reach the top of the tower. crowd yelled statements such as:

“Oh, WAY too difficult!!!”

“They will NEVER make it to the top.”

“Not a chance that they will succeed. The tower is too high!”

The tiny frogs began collapsing. One by one. Except for those, who in a fresh tempo, were climbing higher and higher.

The crowd continued to yell, “It is too difficult!!! No one will make it!”

More tiny frogs got tired and gave up. But ONE continued higher and higher and higher. This one wouldn’t give up!

At the end everyone else had given up climbing the tower. Except for the one tiny frog who, after a big effort, was the only one who reached the top! THEN all of the other tiny frogs naturally wanted to know how this one frog managed to do it?

A contestant asked the tiny frog how he had found the strength to succeed and reach the goal? It turned out. That the winner was DEAF!!!

:: Moral of the Story ::

Never listen to other people’s tendencies to be negative or pessimistic. because they take your most wonderful dreams and wishes away from you — the ones you have in your heart!

Always think of the power words have. Because everything you hear and read will affect your actions! Therefore, ALWAYS BE POSITIVE!

Be DEAF when people tell YOU that you cannot fulfill your dreams! Always think: God and I can do this...
God and I can do this...
