Walking With Jesus!!

It is not easy to walk with Jesus and yet a lot of Christians wanted to walk right with Jesus.. Therefore I really want to blog all my walks so that I can remember all the walks that I have had with Jesus and to rely on Him and allow Him to carry me when I couldn't walk right with Him anymore.

Persistent in Prayer

I used to have a prayer request. This is one special prayer that I had prayed for years. You may wonder what it is. Well I prayed for a car. I prayed for a car to drive to work, to be a able to become a blessing to people surrounding me by fetching them to work, to church and perhaps for movies.
Well I just want to give thanks to God that He provides me a car. I was blessed with a new car which I had wanted so much ever since I started working. To be honest, I could not afford to buy a car with my current pay. I mean I can but it will be a bit burdensome. But our Lord Jesus provides. He provides me with ways that I could never dream I will get. As I said earlier, I could not really afford a car with my current pay. But He lead someone to provide me the necessary amount for the car. Lord Jesus uses him to tell me not to worry. To be honest, I am a low self esteem guy but I learn to be faithful in whatever things that I do. At times I believe in my prayer with conviction. Sometimes, I do not even believe in my own prayer.
But nonetheless, He listens to my prayer. He listens and He answers. Well this prayer of wanting the car had been quite some time. I had been consistently praying for the car. Then one day, I stopped praying. I stopped because, I was just tired of listening to my own prayer and didn't receive anything. Out of sudden, this man, let's call him A. A approaches me and want to give me some money. He knows I wanted a car and I could not afford to buy it. He felt that Lord Jesus is leading him to give the money to me. The money is not much but more than enough for the down payment of the car. I do not have anything but out of sudden, our Lord Jesus gave something to me. I am so thankful to Lord Jesus for blessing me with the car. Now with the car, I can travel to work, church and other places for leisure. I am thankful that Lord Jesus remembers even a prayer which was prayed before years back and then stopped. He does not care even if that person lose faith when it comes to prayer, but He still answers prayer. He answers even though we may lose faith in Him.
To be honest, keep on praying despite that you may lose faith in Him. I had to say He is just testing our faith in Him. If we were just to give up in prayer, we gain nothing. Regardless of what we are facing, let us not give up but persist in prayer. Do not let the devil win over us.
Here's a Bible verse I would like to share with you concerning persisting in prayer.

The Parable of the Persistent Widow

18 Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’”
Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

I just want to share that despite me, somehow or rather loses faith in getting a car prayer, but Lord Jesus still answers. One things I do learn, despite us loses faith in anything, do not give up of our Lord Jesus Christ, no matter what. I believe that is what  matter most. You might lose faith in yourself but please do not lose faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. When you keep on believing in Him, He shall appear and show Himself to you and He shall bless you. So please do not give up. God bless. =)

Good Friday 2015

Today is 2015's Good Friday. It is a day to commemorate the death of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. It is also today 2000 years ago that our beloved Lord Jesus Christ defeated death (Satan) and gave hope to the world.

It was stated in the Bible in the book of John (New Testimony) Chapter 3 and verse 16 that said:

"16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

Jesus came into this world to die for us. He was God in full form, came down to earth 2000 years ago, as half God and half man. As one quarter of Trinity, He volunteered Himself to come down to earth, sacrificed Himself to save us from sins. When we were born, we were born of sins. Sins are part and parcel of our life. We are not perfect. A lot of time, we cannot control our sins. Sometimes, we enjoy it a lot. Sometimes, we hate it. A lot of time we hate who we are.

Well guess what? Good news came to us 2000 years ago through the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. His birth is very important but nothing is more important than His death and His resurrection back to heaven from death. His death brought us hope. Whoever believe in Him shall have an eternal life. He shall make all things right according to His will. This is the eternal hope we are looking for. The chaotic life on earth leads us nowhere but to believe in Him. As a human, we cannot do much by ourselves but in Him, we can even conquer the world, if ever we believe in Him. In this world, only Christianity teaches us that we do not need to work hard to achieve our life. We can have a better life by just believing in Him. Of course, life is not as simple as bed of roses. We still need to go through pain and suffering to live up our life. But despite of that we can still believe that He is always in our midst. He is always there to watch over us and to protect us. Our walk with Jesus is not just do, do, do and do. He teaches us to love others as we love ourselves. In Matthew 22:39, it said:

39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’[a] 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

So let us do likewise. To show and tell the other that Jesus is alive and well. Remember, our hope is always in Jesus. Do not let go of that hope and in all circumstances, He is our pillar of life. Anyway if anyone of my reader who are reading this are convicted to believe in Jesus, please says the following prayer.

Lord Jesus, I come before You and confess that I am a sinner. Jesus, I believe that You died on the cross, and that Almighty God raised You from the dead. I pray that You forgive me of my sin, and be my Lord and Savior. In the name of Christ Jesus I pray this prayer. Amen.

Once you do that, congratulations. Praise the Lord for your salvation. You are now officially a Christian. You had welcomed Jesus into your life and make Him your Lord and Savior. So in anything and everything do pray to Him and ask Him to guide and help you. He is your Everything and He shall guide you through your life. The next thing you need to do is to attend a church nearby you. Get someone to bring you to a church, to nurture you walk in Him. You may still have questions about Him. Well take the opportunity to ask the church. Beside your growth with the Lord, it is also very important for you to grow with like-minded people like you and me which are other Christian brothers and sisters. Go to a church which can helps you to grow and help you to understand Jesus better.

Lastly but not least, wishing everyone a blessed Good Friday (today) and a blessed Easter Sunday. May we all continue to be strong in our Lord Jesus Christ. Let no one influence to be otherwise. In Him, we are everything but without we are nothing. God bless.
