Walking With Jesus!!

It is not easy to walk with Jesus and yet a lot of Christians wanted to walk right with Jesus.. Therefore I really want to blog all my walks so that I can remember all the walks that I have had with Jesus and to rely on Him and allow Him to carry me when I couldn't walk right with Him anymore.

[Relationship related Article] Did I Marry The Right Person ?

Another good article sent to me.. Enjoy.. =) - Lik Ee -

This is a very good article. Those who are still single may learn something from here...
Those who are already married may take it as a guideline to improve your marriage & relationship ...

DID I MARRY THE RIGHT PERSON?

During one of our seminars, a woman asked a common question. She said, 'How do I know if I married the right person?'
I noticed that there was a large man sitting next to her so I said, 'It depends. Is that your husband?'
In all seriousness, she answered 'How do you know?'

Let me answer this question because the chances are good that it's weighing on your mind.

Here's the answer.
EVERY relationship has a cycle. In the beginning, you fell in love with your spouse/partner. You anticipated their call, wanted their touch, and liked their
idiosyncrasies (unconventional behavior/habit).

Falling in love with your spouse wasn't hard. In fact, it was a completely natural and spontaneous experience. You didn't have to
DO anything. That's why it's called 'falling' in love... Because it's happening TO YOU.

People in love sometimes say, 'I was swept off my feet.' Think about the imagery of that __expression.
It implies that you were just standing there; doing nothing, and then something came along and happened
TO YOU.

Falling in love is easy. It's a passive and spontaneous experience. But after a few years of marriage, the euphoria (excitement) of love fades. It's the natural cycle of EVERY relationship. Slowly but surely, phone calls become a bother (if they come at all), touch is not always welcome (when it happens), and your spouse's
idiosyncrasies, instead of being cute, drive you nuts.

The symptoms of this stage vary with every relationship, but if you think about your marriage, you will
notice a dramatic difference between the initial stage when you were in love and a much duller or even angry subsequent stage.

At this point, you and/or your spouse might start asking, 'Did I marry the right person?' And as you and your spouse reflect on the
euphoria of the love you once had, you may begin to desire that experience with someone else. This is when marriages breakdown. People blame their spouse for their unhappiness and look outside their marriage for fulfillment.

Extramarital fulfillment comes in all shapes and sizes. Infidelity is the most obvious. But sometimes people turn to work,
a hobby, a friendship, excessive TV, or abusive substances.

But the answer to this dilemma does NOT lie outside your marriage. It lies within it. I'm not saying that you couldn't fall in love with someone else.
You could.

And TEMPORARILY you'd feel better. But you'd be in the same situation a few years later. Because (listen carefully to this):

THE KEY TO SUCCEEDING IN MARRIAGE IS NOT FINDING THE RIGHT PERSON; IT'S LEARNING TO LOVE THE PERSON YOU FOUND.

SUSTAINING love is not a passive or spontaneous experience. It'll NEVER just happen to you. You can't 'find' LASTING love. You have to 'make' it day in and day out. That's why we have the __expression 'the labor of love.'
Because it takes time, effort, and energy. And most importantly, it takes WISDOM. You have to know WHAT TO DO to make your marriage work.

Make no mistake about it. Love is NOT a mystery. There are specific things you can do (with or without your spouse) to succeed with your marriage.

Just as there are physical laws of the universe (such as gravity), there are also laws for relationships.
Just as the right diet and exercise program makes you physically stronger, certain habits in your relationship
WILL make your marriage stronger. It's a direct cause and effect. If you know and apply the laws, the results are predictable... you can 'make'
love.

Love in marriage is indeed a 'decision'... Not just a feeling.

Remember this always:

'God determines who walks into your life. It is up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go.'

All men are honest even when they lied!!!

This is one interesting comment I ever found sent to me via email. Hope that you will like it and I guess it is very true of what it said in the message.

If a female is reading this article then just realize the value of a man;
and if it's a male then feel proud of after reading it!

"One day, while a woodcutter was cutting a branch of a tree above a river, his axe fell into the river. When he cried out, the Lord appeared and asked, "Why are you crying?"

The woodcutter replied that his axe has fallen into water, and he needed the axe to make his living.

The Lord went down into the water and reappeared with a golden axe. "Is this your axe?" the Lord asked.

The woodcutter replied, "No."

The Lord again went down and came up with a silver Axe. "Is this your axe?" the Lord asked.

Again, the woodcutter replied, "No."

The Lord went down again and came up with an iron Axe. "Is this your axe?" the Lord asked.

The woodcutter replied, "Yes."

The Lord was pleased with the man's honesty and gave him all three axes to keep, and the woodcutter went home happy.

Some time later the woodcutter was walking with his wife along the riverbank, and his wife fell into the river. When he cried out, the Lord again appeared and asked him, "Why are you crying?"

"Oh Lord, my wife has fallen into the water!"

The Lord went down into the water and came up with
ANGELINA JOLIE "Is this your wife?" the Lord asked.

"Yes," cried the woodcutter.

The Lord was furious. "You lied! That is an untruth!"

The woodcutter replied, "Oh, forgive me, my Lord. It is a misunderstanding. You see, if I had said 'no' to
ANGELINA JOLIE , You would have come up with CAMERON DIAZ . Then if I said 'no' to her, you would have come up with my wife . Had I then said 'yes,' you would have given me all three. Lord, I am a poor man, and am not able to take care
of all three wives, so THAT'S why I said yes to
ANGELINA JOLIE ."

The moral of this story is:
Whenever a man lies, it is for a good and honorable reason, and for the benefit of others..

Farewell dinner

I had prolonged this blog for the past nearly a week already. I tried my best to blog bout it but I guess due to unforeseeable time given, I hardly have time to blog. In fact all the picture displayed were already out in facebook a week ago. Well let me start today's blog with talking bout my staff dinner last Saturday. Actually it was not staff dinner at all. Instead it was my president's farewell dinner. Some says it was the farewell dinner cum staff dinner, some says no. Some even do not know. But anyway, it was quite an exciting dinner that night. Managed to meet some of my colleagues that I never met before on that night. I mean my company is so big. It had over a thousand staffs and of course not all were there. In fact the total number of people coming that night was only 350++ person, so far as mentioned by the committee in-charge that day.
Anyway it was a very grand (so-called) grand dinner. I mean ex MCA president, Tun Ling Liong Sik came together with his wife and her choir group. Well my ex-president was conferred with honorary degree as being graduated as a Doctor in Education. Anyway the dinner were held in Sime Darby Convention Centre. It was my 2nd time there. First time it was held last year at the same place but of different occasion. Anyway the place was quite a fantastic place to be. I mean it is sort of grand place. Imagine this. Convention Centre of Sime Darby, where everybody attended conferences.

This is actually the ceiling roof of the corridor of the main entrance of the convention centre.

This is the staircase of the main entrance.

This is the decoration lamp for the main entrance.

This is the outside look of the building. Looks fabulous right?

This is another side of the building..

This is the look of the downstair from the inside of the main entrance. Looks grand right?

This is another angle of the centre with its elevator on another corner of the building.

This is some sort of bar counter of the centre where I guess people can come and get their drinks done while waiting for the conference to start or to take a break after the conference.

This is where the signboard where it says my company is having its farewell dinner cum conferment of honorary degree ceremony.

This is one of my favourite spot in anywhere I go, the toilet. Well this toilet may look like a normal toilet for us all, but it is always the most important place to be.
This is the corridor where the dinner was held. It was quite a grand corridor, don't you think so?

Do not be mislead with this picture by thinking that it is some sort of mushroom or even some decoration item of the conference centre but rather be surprised by it cause it is what we all known it as ceiling lamp. It is no ordinary ceiling lamp but I guess we cannot even get it from Ikea cause it is not ordinary lamp. At first I also thought that it was decoration item but at the end I realised it was a lamp.

This is the third dish that we were served. I missed the chance of taking pictures of both first and second dishes. In fact the fourth dish which was called roasted chicken with mango in Thai sauce were also missed up. This third dishes was called steamed white pomfret shanghai style. For one thing, I dislikes fish. So therefore at the end I did not eat a single bit of the fish. The first dish was called four hot and cold season combination while the second dish was called braised shark's fin soup with crab meat and dried scallop sliced.

This dish is called baked tiger prawns with chef's special Chinese BBQ sauce. Quite a nice dish for me. In fact I shall say that both the chicken and this prawn were my most favorite dish.

Well this dish were known as braised assorted mushroom wrapped in bean curd skin. It was quite delicious but not as delicious as the chicken and the prawn still.

Well this dish is considered that it be the first dish ever served. But too bad it never does. So in the end not many ate the rice and it goes wasted into the garbage bin.

Our last dishes is shown here. Sea coconut with longan. Well it always my best desert.
This is of course my share of the sea coconut with longan drink. But as everybody knows this is not my only bowl but of course I get to have more than one bowl since not many wanted to drink it anymore after they had filled their stomach with all the delicious food.
Managed to take quite a few group photos with my colleagues. Here are some of it.. =)
This is the table where I sat.

First met this couple during the dinner. Quite a nice couple though. Both are working in the same company but different department. Can't really remember their name though.

Me and two ladies.. (Ms Emily and Ms Pek Yee)

Me and a close colleague of mine, Teh Soon Huat. =)

Me and a pretty colleague, Yap Lay Min.

Me and my boss, Mr Tham Kam Seng.

Me and Dr. Tan Kee Kong, one of the big boss around in the company. He might not be the biggest but his post in the company is quite big though. Don't play, play..
Anyway that's all bout my dinner blog, folks. May you enjoyed looking at the pictures ok? By the way, if you are ever invited to go for staff annual dinner or any free dinner organised by the company, please do not hesitate to go. Do not give excuses like its too far or things like that. Cause you won't know who you will met and how you are going to mingle around with them. In another sense you might be finding in their eyes and vice versa.. =) God bless...

The politic

A week ago last Friday, I went to SIB Young Adult Combine cell group. Ps Lee Choo was sharing on this topic called The politic of Jesus' ministry. Well it was quite an interesting sharing and it ended with Question and Answer session. The session was quite a heated session with some sort of nearly an arguments with some new lawyers rise up to argue when it comes to hot debate bout politic.
One of the most interesting sharing that Ps Lee Choo brought up was this and it is very true. She said that as much as we support whichever political party the root problem in political is how we react towards the winning of the respective political party. I mean whether our party won or lose, it is very important to know we as the supporter of the party must never gone extreme whether the party we supported lost or won during the election. We need to guard our behavior and our attitude must be right and be in peace whether they lost or won in the election.
After the session, we were still talking bout political issue when out of sudden we ended up nearly into an argument. The basis of argument is this. One of the cell member supported Anwar Ibrahim because he thought and believe that Anwar Ibrahim can lead Malaysia into clean country in terms of corruption and inflation if Anwar even become a Prime Minister. As for me, I believe whether the election is just or fair, it had bring the country into a deeper level of reformation and truly I felt sad and pity our current Prime Minister, Pak Lah for losing out a lot during this election. As we go into deeper discussion, he started to become more and more extreme. He started to stare me in the eye and wanting to psycho my mind into thinking that Opposition party is better than BN. And I find his ways of wanting my support over the opposition party quite intimidating. And I had to admit that his attitude is truly unacceptable if he ever want to convert me into believing that PKR is better than BN. It is just by the way he force me to support the party that makes me wonder, "sure or not PKR better? I mean by his reaction towards me so-called against PKR." I had to say that he is of without grace that if his party were not to win this time to form a new government, he will find other means of way to get support. I do not know. I mean whoever won in the election whether it is BN, PKR, PAS or even DAP, we need to support and respect them cause they are the one that the Rakyat choose. Unless of course the Rakyat was blind and choose wrongly. I guess as much as a month had passed ever since the election, we need to learn to deal with this new changes in the government with grace. And it is not just by grace but by God's grace. Otherwise lotsa problems will rise up even though opposition party won more vote than last election.
Anyway at the end of the day, he kept quiet after being lectured by me for being so intolerance towards my rights and perhaps other people's rights if ever they choose BN as their supported party. Let me end this blog by commenting on a question, if possible I shall called it "interesting" question. Okay. PAS always maintained that they followed their Islamic teaching well. Well since PAS is an Islamic party and had a strong Islamic teaching, is it a sin for the PAS to actually play politic? I mean deposited their money RM5,000 for election rally and if ever they win they can keep the opposition party's deposited money. I mean isn't that a form of gambling? I do not mean to provoke any Muslims who might read this blog but I am interested to know what do the Muslims think bout this? For Christians, a small sin is still a sin, whether it is for good or for bad, whether we like it or not? But for Muslims? Any lawyer here who might be interested to comment on this? I asked my Malay colleague. They also not sure but they tell it is okay if the RM5,000 is to help others. But does the money help others? Can anybody comment on it? Thanks.

From bad to good..

Ever since I stayed alone in KL and PJ until now, I had tasted a lot of joy, happiness and some even sadness.. But there is one thing I had not done until an hour and a half ago. Well that one thing would be knowing how to buy a liquid detergent to wash my clothes. I was wondering just now what brand, what liter and even what is the cheapest price to buy a cloth detergent. At the end I choose a "Kuat Harimau" brand. I wondered how tough is that detergent to wash away all my clothes' stain. At the end I called my mom and she told me that "Kuat Harimau" brand is quite a normal brand. Not that strong but enough to wash my clothes. You know, with a washing machine available at my rented room, it is much more convenient for me nowadays. So I am also learning how to buy daily products such as washing detergent. I used to scoop a small bottle from my mom and pay her RM1 per scoop. But ever since my dad entered hospital, I choose not to scoop it anymore. Just in case my mom came back and do not have anymore detergent to wash her clothes instead. Shame on me.. =(
Anyway my dad is getting better. I heard from my mom that his shoulder is started to move again. But his finger is still hard to move. But then my mom told me that she will try to get my dad to go to church this coming Sunday. =)
Finally Pak Lah rise up from his quietness to slash his opponent, whether his own party people or the opposition. Well way to go, Pak Lah. I guess people tend to think him as weak. I myself used to think like that as well.. But then people changed and they changed pretty fast too. So all the best Pak Lah. God bless you.. And God bless you, all my readers too... =)

Malaysia

I had read a lot of articles recently bout our country's politic recently. Much had been said bout our beloved Prime Minister, Pak Lah. Some gave good comments but mostly gave bad comments. The worst comment would be from Tun Mahathir where he asked Pak Lah to resign as Prime Minister. I was born under the leadership of Tun Hussein Onn, our third Prime Minister, two years before he retired. Therefore I do not really understand him. In saying that I actually do not remember him as our Prime Minister. But for one thing, I understand and know I am living under the leadership of Tun M. and Pak Lah before.
I guess it had been a dramatic month for Malaysia ever since voting day until now. There had been lotsa news bout this new leadership of the country, of how Malaysia gonna be like in 4 to 5 years time before the next election. Well for one thing here I would like to say, "let us stop arguing and start a new year, new season ahead, especially in coming of years where our life would be going much more bad with the worsen of war, diseases etc etc." I mean within UMNO themselves please stop blaming each other and let's start all over again.
Remember this year is Malaysia's 51st year of reigning in victory. We are still 50th years old and approaching bout 4 month. Let us not make the country a place where people would come and blame each other for whatever that had been done. Let us all just patch up and learn this lesson of how to build up a country where the "rakyat" would enjoy good life even more. May this 51st years of independence onward be better, rather than be worst. We still have goal to carry, remember? Vison 2020, brainchild of Tun M. I mean I respect Tun M. a lot but let not this political issue brought us down into drain. Let us look toward more succeed, not failure. Seriously all these arguments bout who is to blamed within the BN parties should be stopped. If needed, everybody should be blamed. If one party thinks they are right, others as well should be right cause BN is a mixture of different parties, with different culture and different races coming together to bring peace and harmonies to the country. Not to destroy it. We are not Hitler. Neither are we Al-Qaeda.
It was always written in newspaper and mentioned by every part of the world of how Malaysia being blessed as a country with lotsa different races and different religions, and yet we can come together again in harmony and in unity. I guess even the Americans are jealous of this harmony and unity that we all have. American may be rich with materials but we are rich with culture and harmony, which not many country can claim they have and by saying that we are still rich. So let us not argue among each other but let us continue to care for each other, regardless of which races you are from, whether you are Islam, Christian or even Buddhist and Hindus. That's what our Father of Independence want us all to have.
Therefore what I am trying to say here is this. Everybody deserve to be given second chance. The same goes to Pak Lah. After all it is just 4 to 5 years only. Then after that, if the "rakyat" felt that BN is still sucks then go for it. Vote for Opposition party forever. As for Christians, I believe that we should continue to pray for our country. Let no devil destroy and rob what we had already have. Whether the coming election, BN win or lose, it is all up to God to decide. But let us not bad-mouthed other parties. Whether it is Barisan National or Barisan Alternative. Let God decide who is to rule the country. But let us keep on praying bout it, ok? =) God bless.

1 cent

Today is 2nd day of where 1 cent cannot be used. Well for your information, this 1 cent can still be used in Post Office for all payable utilities bills. That was what I was told few days back when I do my bill paying. So please hurried up and go to Post Office to disposable your 1 cent coin before it's officially too late.. =) God bless..

Super Star

A week ago, a group of us went to watch this new movie called The Chronicle of Spiderwick. Well the movie was nice but before that we are able to meet a few quite popular Super Star. =) Imagine that we are that fortunate enough to meet them. In fact we are able to take some nice, well.. arrr... well... kinda not so nice looking type of photos. In fact if you are under 18 please refrain yourself from staring at the photo cause it will make you all wondered wild.

Okay.. First of all, we met this Panda of Kung Fu Panda animation by the name of Po. Well you wouldn't want to see what those people over there did to the Panda. Okay lah. Understood the girls does not do that but wondered what the guys were doing?? Actually should I say touching? Anyway of course I understand what the guys were doing but what bout the girls? They are trying to act kungfu? Hmm....

As for this animation, I do not know what is the name of the movie but I was actually wondering what the girls are doing? Okay la.. I can see Anna was trying to act like a squirrel but Xi Ying..?? She tried to act cute? As for the guys.. well I guess they are alright over here..

This was the movie we watched the other day. Well it was quite a nice movie. Just that the ending is quite unexpected. Well not really twisted.. Just unexpected.. Well I always wondered what makes the girls laughed like mad that time, until Xi Ying wanted to punch her neck. Aaron, as usual with his cool look. =) Good for you, man..

What is this photo trying to say, eh? Anna is trying to punch Xi Ying and Xi Ying is trying to pretend taking picture of Anna trying to punch her? Well.. no.. They are trying to act like the movie at the back. Xi Ying as the mamoth and Anna as D'Leh.. What about Aaron? What makes him shocked? Well ask him lah if you got the chance to meet him.
Anyway guess who is the super star? Who is the cutest of them all? Which one of them have the sweetest smile among all? I got the answer. Well can it be.. a) Anna-Grace b) Xi Ying c) Aaron Tham or d) Jeffrey? But before that let me show you another two cutest, sweetest and perhaps prettiest picture before you decide. Here goes..
Okay.. Her name is Abigail Sim. She is Daniel Sim's sister. Well she is young but she is now a college student. I took her picture accidentally.. But do you think she is cute? Well I guess she is very very very cute. But anyhow the next picture I took wouldn't be as bad as hers. Here goes..

The picture above is a little baby. Taken few days back. His name is David Ong. This is a baby boy of a SIB cell group that I join a year ago. His father Jimmy Ong, told me that David would be slaying Goliath when he grow up. Wow!! That's marvelous. Wondered his future wife would be? The famous wife of David in the Bible is Bathsheba, also the mother of famous ruler in the Bible, Solomon. Well just hopefully David will get a better wife than Bathsheba then, shall we? Anyway I guess you finally have the answer of who is the cutest, the sweetest and the cutest photo of all right? So now is the time to vote. Remember to vote for the rightful person and not based on who you like cause this is called Super Star photoshoot session. It is where all the deserve photo wins. Not where all the Tom, Dick and Harry or any Amy, Jenny and even whatever girl's name chosen. So start voting by comment on your favourite person, ok? God bless...
