Walking With Jesus!!

It is not easy to walk with Jesus and yet a lot of Christians wanted to walk right with Jesus.. Therefore I really want to blog all my walks so that I can remember all the walks that I have had with Jesus and to rely on Him and allow Him to carry me when I couldn't walk right with Him anymore.

What Child Is This?

One of my favorite Christmas Carol besides O'Holy Night would be "What Child Is This"? I find this song very humbling. I mean not to say other Christmas Carols not humbling enough. But this song kept me thinking. Why of all the children during those time it was Jesus who came into this world and save mankind. I mean truthfully speaking for those who were not Christian and believer of Christ, do you know that you are singing about the birth of Jesus Christ, despite the fact it is end of the year shopping sale. I mean Christmas supposed to be a religious celebration but then world had commercialized it and thus the true meaning of Christmas is slowly missing. But guess what I do not think that the true meaning of Christmas has slowly diminishing yet but rather it is slowly increasing.
With the very fact that Christmas Carol is sang throughout the month of December it shows that Jesus' name is still glorifying. We don't see any other religion song during the month of December, don't we? But seriously saying this "What Child Is This" is one truly touching song. It talks about humility. Jesus was born not in a castle or mansion but rather a barn. I mean coming to think of it, how many of us were born in a barn as far as you remember? Not only that when Jesus went to Heaven, the very first time He do when He went back, He prepared us mansion. I mean we all born in a proper hospital and when we die we got mansion? But when Jesus was born He was born in a barn and when He went back to Heaven, He had to prepared us mansion some more? I mean isn't that unfair. So do you agree with me it is very humbling song? And when He was born in the barn, thank God that there are three kings or wise man who came and shower with gifts. How bout us,the normal human being (if we were given chance to go back to the past)? Would we go and greet this new born King or we just walk past by Him and ignore Him? I guess that is the question we should ask ourselves. I mean even to me, as a reminder. So as usual Christmas is about Jesus Christ and not anybody else. In fact if you were born on Christmas Day too, please remember Him and put Him first then only your birthday. You might say it's difficult and not easy to glorify Him and not me, me and me. Well guess what? I was born two days after Christmas. So imagine the struggle at times of me putting Him first rather me. So may this blessed and special day be a blessing to you and me cause without Him, there is no me and you, Amen?

What Child Is This

What Child is this who, laid to rest
On Mary's lap is sleeping?
Whom Angels greet with anthems sweet,
While shepherds watch are keeping?

[CHORUS]
This, this is Christ the King,
Whom shepherds guard and Angels sing;
Haste, haste, to bring Him laud,
The Babe, the Son of Mary.

Why lies He in such mean estate,
Where ox and ass are feeding?
Good Christians, fear, for sinners here
The silent Word is pleading.

[CHORUS]

Nails, spear shall pierce Him through,
The cross be borne for me, for you.
Hail, hail the Word made flesh,
The Babe, the Son of Mary.

[CHORUS]

So bring Him incense, gold and myrrh,
Come peasant, king to own Him;
The King of kings salvation brings,
Let loving hearts enthrone Him.

[CHORUS]

Raise, raise a song on high,
The virgin sings her lullaby.
Joy, joy for Christ is born,
The Babe, the Son of Mary.

What a beautiful post! My family and I were discussing last night the fact that JESUS was born in a humble barn.

We have farm animals and believe me, they are not the most pleasant smelling things to have around at times. That being said, it just goes to show how Sweet JESUS loves us all and wants us to walk with HIM.

Praise GOD! HE saved my soul and I have not been the same since!

Blessings,
