The value of a complainer

I was chatting with a friend recently. And I mentioned something worthwhile for me and her to reflect on. How can we know a certain people deeply? I mean knowing them not just the physical part but then included the mental and emotional part. I guess one way or another it can be shown through the way we talk. I mean human beings do talk. In fact they are a lot more talkative that they can actually polluted the world with sound pollution. I was watching this movie called 'The Man" last night in Xi Ying's house while Xi Ying, Yoke Kheng and Karen Ng was having Bible studies together. I know I am not there to listen to their studying but then I am taking the time to actually watched a movie offered by Xi Ying's brother. Anyway the movie was acted by Eugene Levy and Samuel l Jackson. I guess a lot of us remembered him as the father of Jason Biggs, the lead actor of American Pie and the school inspector in New York Minutes. In this movie he acted someone who was supposed to attend a conference but ended in wild chase between the police and the bad guys.
I was not sure what his job are in that movie but I guess he is a school teacher in that movie since he was supposed to attend a conference and gives a speech. One of his greatest gift in that movie is his way of talking. For one thing, he is super talkative. He can talk non-stop and everyone would get irritated with him. Anyway back to what I am trying to say. Well a lot of time we as a human being, loves to talk. In fact talking is part and parcel of our life as a human being. Well we talk everywhere and anytime. In fact we communicate with God through prayer and prayer is part and parcel of talking.
I came to realise that in order for some of us who don't really show our true self, including myself, talking and complaning is part and parcel of knowing us. I do complain a lot in life. In fact I complain all the time and everywhere. Otherwise I would not be this long-winded and wrote this long blog just to state one short sentences. If a person complains and complains please remember this. One of the way for us who don't complain to know is that complainers show their true colour easily. It shows how emotional, how bad and how good he or she was, it shows how certain things are being done in their life. In fact it shows to the world who they are actually. I mean a complainer may complain but a complainer's true colour through complaining. So please do not shun complainers away. Israelites are complainers and at the end God gave them manna. God does miracle by breaking the rock and water flowing out. God answers complainers' prayer. Because a complainers are the one determine that they do not want to give up on not getting the blessing. That's why they complain and complain. Even I believe that through the parables of widow in Luke 18:1-8

The Parable of the Persistent Widow

1 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. 2 He said: "In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought. 3 And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, 'Grant me justice against my adversary.'

4 "For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, 'Even though I don't fear God or care what people think, 5 yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually come and attack me!' "

6 And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says. 7 And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"

Anyway I do not mean to say we should complain but then I believe that part and parcel is filled with complains. So therefore whenever a person complains and that person you do not know well, please listens to his or her complains cause you would be surprised to find some knowledge and wisdom through complains. Likewise the widow who persistent of her matter. You may say its different but then when a plea was kept sent to you, it is considered a persistent and a persistent becames complain and through all these complaint a person's real character can be seen and shown. How he dealt with his life and the life surrounds him and it can become a valuable knowledge and wisdom to people around the complainer. So don't shun these type of people away but understands them and you shall be blessed. =)
